Started in the craft as a comm tech. Now I’m a telecom construction supervisor, all for CN. Foamer...that shit’s cracking me up!!

I work out of MS but do travel a lot. And yes schedule is better for us. Seems like anymore most of our transportation guys work the extra board. Definitely not a family friendly schedule.

No it's not. Luckily we can bid on jobs so I'm on a local switcher which allows me to be home every night....eventually lol.

I'm not rail road but I work Rolling Stock and Shops for heavy rail transit car. Company is Bay Area Rapid Transit or BART. I worked as a Transit Vehicle Mechanic for 4 years. I was recently promoted to Senior Maintenance Planner about 6 months ago.
I keep my eyes open for other jobs still!
