Any problem using a fluid extractor for oil changes on the 5.0?

I know I still need to crawl under the car to change the filter, but this just make it more convenient for getting the oil in my jug for transportation. I've only been under the car once and I never really got a good look. Is there anything keeping me from using one of the pumps like above? I've read about some dipsticks with doors that the hose can get stuck on. I'm not about to take the chance and have to drop the pan if it gets stuck.

The opening inside the dipstick tube is relatively small - 3/16ths of an inch at most. Most extractors have larger pickup hoses than that and they won't fit.
