I was wondering if there is any new information out there on the web for the Next GT500. I am holding off on buying a 2017 GT350 but if the next GT500 is a turbo V6.......I might pull the trigger.

It wont be a V6. Do you have the patience to wait several yrs for the next helo car to be available? Enjoy the GT350 in the meantime.
A Raptor buddy posted this. He said he saw the front mount intercooler and he could definitely tell it was a V8. Seems odd that it wasn't disguised but with the GT350s out it wouldn't be that odd to have a Shelby running the streets.

That's what I said! He said traffic was too heavy to get in front for the pic.

That looks like a GT350 to me in triple yellow tri-coat, perhaps a 2017 model. I highly doubt there's an uncamouflaged GT500 cruising around the streets of California.
Perhaps he got a quick glimpse of the 350's standard front grille which could look like a front mount intercooler when moving past in traffic?

The rumors which suggested that the upcoming GT500 will use a newly developed 5.0 or 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V8 have not been dismissed so far which make us think that the car will be in fact the first Mustang to use a turbocharged rather than supercharged V8.

either one they choose I JUST HOPE IT STAYS A V8! About time ford finally offers bigger tires / michelin tires automatic option it will be a win win, power isnt the problem, the mustang and last gt500 / new mustangs downfall has been no auto option in the cobras and shity eagle tires that are no larger then 285 in size. they need to learn from the corvette z06. drop a 6 or 8 or 10 speed auto option in it a nice set of 305 -315 rear micheline factory tires then it can finally hook and run good times. the weight and traction issues is what killed stock 2013-2014 mustangs. drop an auto and new tires and dont change anything else on a 2013-2014 gt500 and it would prob be a 10 second car stock.
