Just curious. Anyone hit up Pokerstars or anything else for some hold em etc..?

If so, if you can recall, how much money do you spend weekly or monthly?

Do you stay positive or constantly in the negative?

I love playing Texas hold em, always have. I understand if there are people who believe it to be morally wrong and what not, and I fully understand why they can think that. But for me, its kinda just a relax time, and having four little girls and a wife, its difficult for me to meet up with buddies to have a poker night. So I play a little (maybe 20 dollars a month).

How bout yall?

i played for a living all throughout college. I am a PLO (pot limit omaha) tournament and cash game specialist but have had quite a bit of success in NLHE.
I've won countless tournaments online in the 4 and 5 digit payouts, made runs in live tournaments at the WPT, WSOP, WSOP circuit, Venetian DSE, etc. including a final table appearance at the L.A. Poker Classic at the Commerce Casino in the $1800 buy-in PLO tournament.
I play on Full Tilt because i get "rakeback" on my account. Which means that 27% of every dollar i pay in rake gets refunded to me weekly so it's an incentive to play there.
I've spent the last 4 summers in Vegas for the tournaments, renting houses with 4-7 other friends. i have one friend that just won the largest online tournament in history, $2.2M 1st place payout, $5k entry fee and ~2400 runners
a few friends are coaches on training sites, and about 7 guys that are very close personal friends that are all ranked in the top 100 in online tournament play on PocketFives.com
soooo yeahhhh, i play online....haha

I play roulette online when I'm really bored. Keep track of the patterns and with a little probability, eventually a decent bet will hit.

Most of the time when you go into game like poker, everyone else besides you will be on the phone telling each other what they have so they can hustle you. That's been the name of the game ever since any of this online stuff came out.

I thought about that. I wonder how much of that crap really goes on?

Ive been off and on for about 6 years with online poker. Like most Ive lost more than Ive won but my in person play has made up for that. Cant say Ive sat at a Bodog or PokerStars table in several months. Dont really miss it either but thats probably because Ive been hitting the local casino tourneys. In person vs online is a whole different playing experience for me. If you can keep it under $20/month by all means keep at it. I used to love the $.50/1 no limit tables. All those guys chase cards so its easy to win real big real fast on those.

Love to hear your take on gambling and Gods Word? Im sure my habits wont like it :uh oh:

I know Bodog changed their system a little after 2005 and I think it has to do with IP addresses now. If they catch the same people at the same table more than once they are blocked from playing together ever again. Happened with me and a buddy in 2005 and we still cant play together at any table:rolling:

I used to. I am convinced that you can't win big on anything other than sports. On casino games, anytime I got my winnings up to $250 and I tried to make larger bets ($50+) I was always stonewalled with ridiculous losing streaks. GO back to $5 bets and you'll go on a great run up until where your losing streak started.

I'm a solid Blackjack player.....but online I can't win much at all and I live within 40 minutes of two major casinos where I can hold my own.

My advice is to open an account with $100. Once you get ahead by $100, cash out and close the account. Repeat this step from as many different IP addresses as possible and maybe you'll come out ahead over time. Or stick to just sporting events.

I used to and glad I quit once I bought the Cobra. The Terminator was bought to keep me from getting involved in that stuff...

Surrounded by libetards.
Not anymore. I saw the special on 60 minutes about colluding poker players and a guy that had admin passwords for one of the poker sites and ripped people off for millions. I stick to being ripped off live and in person now.
