Picked this up addition to the fleet earlier this week. Very happy with it! 2013 model.

Don't own one but I have ridden one. A 2012
Loved it!
Didn't hurt my old screwed up back at all. I can't enjoy my older Ducati anymore due to the extreme riding position. It's a 1979 900SS Hailwood replica.
If I run across someone selling theirs at a really great price I will grab it up for sure.

Awesome! I would love to own a ducati but not sure I could afford the maintenance. How is it on the newer ones? I ride around 10 -15k miles a year

It has a Desmotronic service every 15K which I suspect isn't cheap; a similar requirement on my Vrod to check valve lash ever 20K runs about $850, 99% of which is labor. Other than that service every 7500. With all the electronics and it being Italian, I sprang for the extended warranty to cover it for a total of 7 years. My understanding is that the 2015 Diavel will bump that service out to every 18,000 miles.

Very peculiar bikes, those Diavels. I remember running in to one of them on my Z1000 years back before I knew what it was...those things are very quick for what they are! Got a chance to ride one...would definitely like to pick one up in the future.
