im trying to send somebody a file thru aim, they have aol, i have cable modem, says firewalled, how do i turn that off so i can send a file??

Ive got this same problem, just never bothered with it though. Ive got the same router. Would love to solve this probby.

Ok if you guys know how to get into your router all you have to do is go and click on the advanced tab and then click on the Forwarding tab and tell the router to open up ports 5190-5193.

TO get into the linksys router all you have to do is type this
192.168.1.1
There is no defualt user name but the password is admin.

YOu can do that also, but Im trying to keep it simple and use the ports that AIM is defaulted to.
