Any CCW wheel owners (perferablly classics) upgraded to bigger brakes?

I just ordered the Cobra R Brake Kit and I never checked to make sure that my classic wheels had a large enough offset to clear the bigger brakes.

Was wondering if any of you had done this before and if you did it with success or had to run a spacer or what.

Yep, got exactly that set-up. You'll need a .187" spacer on the front using an E.T. style lug nut.

You'll be good to go!

I called CCW and the girl that answered the phone apparently looked up my order and told me the offset in the front is 25mm. When I talked to the folks about the Brembos, they said I needed at least 50mm of clearance. So they suggested this spacer from MM.

What are your thoughts on this?
