ok have an 2003 convertible only the right side speakers work? both the front and the back don't work on the left side?

I'm sure you did this already - but did you check the balance settings to see if they are set to full right?

I just "fixed" this problem on a friend's car. The connectors for the right side speakers had fallen out. Reached behind the dash and firmly pushed them together. Problem solved.

I hope your failure is so simple to find and fix.
