Hey guys, just have another x-pipe question...The deal for the catted x-pipe I posted fell through, but I have another one lined up. But this one's cats have acctually been blown out. Do you think I could pass emmisions with the cats pretty much gone?? Since they are still on it, Im good with the visual, but don't know about the sniffer test.

Blown out as in hollowed, or blown out as in no good? Assuming you mean hollowed/gutted, I think there's a possibility, but it really depends on your area and how strict they are. 8YURSS lives in Cali, so it would be the most strict for him.
Thanks for the resposes, its pretty cheap so I might just put on working cats...
i don't know what the deal is with cats nowadays. this isn't the seventies where we had those big ass fifty lb. monstrosities that clogged immedeatly. the shit now is light and free flowing, plus most don't need to have an a.i.r. pump. if you need them to pass smog, i'd just go with some good high flowing cats and not have to worry about getting a hugh ass fine. jmho.
