another tint question

I am not sure if this questions has been asked and answered but I am going to ask anyway. If I am driving with my windows down and an officer pulls me over, can he force me to put my windows up to check my tint? Please only responses from LEO's

It depends on where you are. If your windows are dark but you have them down, I don't see the reason to stop you for it. If the rear window is dark, then I would write you a repair order and send you to have the windows inspected at the Motor Vehicle Administration.

In Virginia, yes. No if's, and's, or but's about it.

Any Virginia Trooper, Officer, or Deputy can stop you at any time to check any vehicle equipment as long as the vehicle is seen operating on a public roadway.
