Another rear end noise question

I have a 2008 with 4:10 gears. Ran stock size tires for 3 years with zero issues, all was good. I went to a taller tire and now I get a howling, odd sound coming from the rear end when making turns. The tire is not rubbing, or making contact with anything. I am going to add friction modifier to see if that helps. Has anyone ever seen a situation like this before? Is it possible to add to much friction modifier? The tube I have is 7.1 oz. Thanks in advance.

Just a quick update. Drained fluid and replaced with Royal Purple and store brand friction modifier-still had noise. Drained and replaced fluid again with Royal Purple and Ford Racing friction modifier-no noise at all. Shame on me for trying to take the easy route.
