Another Boost a pump question

Ok guys I've read so many damned threads about the boost a pumps. I bought a used BaP from a local guy. He told me it was on his 03 cobra. Come to find out it's a 20amp model stamped (15). I've read things saying it will work with my stock set up and read things saying it will not work.

What is the actual truth? Will it work? Will it half ass work, or should I just forget it and go with a 40 amp set up? If that's the case what model number do I need?

the 40amp is designed to handle more loads from bigger dual pumps. The 20 amp will work fine on stock pumps. But if you ever upgrade it'll need to be upgraded as well. The 40 amp model is stamped 30 17 on the back.

So the 20amp will work fine on my bolt on/pullied car? I'm hoping to get it dyno'd in the next couple weeks

as long as it is boosting stock pumps you will be fine.

You will need the 40amp with the stock 03-04 Cobra pumps.
