Amazon Stage 1 CAI

Those running the AR, is the airbox open in the front? How about the filter? I'm looking for a straight shot to the MAF with the headlight out. The pics at AZracing.com aren't clear.

I know the PHP/Steeda meets that criteria, but I'm looking for a plastic shield. The JLP is in the running, but I'm looking for a solid shield, not the cheese-grater style...

Any info will be greatly appreciated

The AR airbox is open the the headlight. the AFE filter that comes with the AR kit is not.

What you want then is the AR heat shield with an AFM filter.

I went to Team Extreme on Nacodoches (with Tracy, aka racerat) the first time. Installed the Flowmaster catback the afternoon before and didn't reset the computer, so I plan to go back with a CAI (and 4,000 more break-in miles) and refute the Flowmaster nay-sayers :-D.

P.S. I also know of DynoTex. Which is the third?

Let me know when you go next if you would, I would like to see how the a/f is running.
