Like a lot of people here this is a build I started on another site, but having it in different places allows for different opinions and ideas.

My overall goal for this, is to make a unique styled 3.7L, that has my own unique twist to it, I have taken some inspiration from a few different builds I have seen, and with their blessing and encouragment I am going to take some of their ideas and add it to my own to hopefully make something I can truly be proud of.

Of course I am always looking for new ideas, but, and again I really don't think most of the mustang people are like this,I do not want to hear the I should have gotten a 5.0 nonsense, I knew what I was buying and had my reasons to go with this over the other. Other than that I welcome new and exciting ideas and others opinions.

This is a list of things I want to buy, I will put in ( ) when it is either ordered or installed, so you can easily see the progress as I order and install things.

Nice V6! Let us know how the Mac longtubes work out, you're probably one of the first to install a set.

Yea that is what it seems like, because to save my life I cannot find a vid on youtube of someone with them. I will probably at first install them with the Catted H-pipe a buddy of mine is going to Fab up for me on my stock exhaust. That should be in june sometime I hope, I am currently looking for the OEM Gt500 Quad exhaust.

270whp? Woah. My stock 3 valve only made 274whp. The v6 mustangs are extremely impressive. Should pick up quite a bit with the long tubes and retune. Good luck!

Yea I was there when a 2014 v6 manual with only a Cai and roush axleback (no tune) dynoed and it put down 273 rwhp. I'm fine with that because mine is an auto and I have more power loss than he does, but I am keeping right up there with him. I am aiming for 305 RWHP N/A, so in my automatic it will equal out to 365 crank hp more or less, if you wonder how I get that number I use a RWHP to Crank hp calc.

Yea, I normally would agree, but this is also my daily driver, and with my work some times I have to drive long distances or in alot of traffic, and I heard the 3.55's where a good balance between get up and go and mpg.

I have .73 on my 5.0 m6. I think 410 would be too much but 3.73 is ok even w highway driving. And it's my dd too... Food for thought

Ah ok, well then I may indeed look to getting them instead. I really cant wait to get rid of my stock gears, they are way to slow.

Apples to oranges. M6 and A6 are geared differently obviously but also between 3.7 and 5.0.

3.7 M6 is different from 5.0 M6 for sure. Not too sure about 3.7 A6 vs 5.0 A6 but 5.0 A6 has a steep first gear, 4.17 I believe, while the 5.0 M6 is a 3.**... Just something to keep in mind when asking other people about rear gear ratios and what the felt and experienced.

I see,I will probably do more research anyway when it becomes time to order the gears and put them on, but I have other mods to do before that. By the way, could anyone tell me what kind of wheels these are? They are on a BOSS 302 at a local dealership, but I didn't think they looked like the BOSS wheels Ford Racing sells. WHEELS

They are OEM Boss 302 wheels. You can't buy them new, you have to find takeoffs from Boss 302's.

Yea that is true, they only about $100 more a wheel, the only thing I don't like, is they are all 19" the tires are more expensive, but oh well.
