we all know altitude and weather conditions can affect track ets and trap speeds quite a bit...but how much? someone on here was stating a track 1100 feet above sea level can hurt you by a mile per hour or two ecspecially if it's humid. The track where I live I do believe is 5500 feet above sea level? How much of a difference would this make compared to sea level? anyone know? I have a buddy that had a 96 cobra with a k&n, pulies, hpipe flows & 4.10s I think that was it....he was pullin bad 60 foot times at like 2.3 or so and only trapped 97 mph and ran in the low 14s...it was very humid that night. he was disappointed and I was very surprised his car runs about the same as my 97.....never tracked mine but I ran door to door with a z28 on the street one time like 5 different times in a row and he was claiming 13.6 at 101 mph....Just curious fellas
