What exactly is it and how is it done? I searched all over ceg and svtp and can't find any how-to's or anything. My alt. is brand new and isn't charging my battery up at all. Plz help thanks.
Alternator Wiring Fix?

if your getting no charge at the battery check the mega fuse first. the wiring fix is to help dimming headlights at idle. it really stems from the cougar, but it also effects the contour.
Mega fuse is good. Brand new alternator and the battery still isn't charging. I'm thinking the wiring fix could help before I have to go through the headache of changingthe alternator again.
not sure that it will do anything but I suppose its worth a shot. but first check fuse #5. easy check is to see if the fog lamps work. the alternator reference wire and fog lamps share the same fuse.

Foglights are working man. Fuse 5 is good. Looks like i'll be swapping alternators and doing the wiring fix tomorrow to see if it solves my issues. Thanks
