Alternator issues!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I bought a after market Alternator From Tuff Stuff, 2 years ago, hi quality, whats happening right now is the battery lite comes on every now and then, one time I made home with it on and everything electrical was dim. Turn off car ,I tried start it up and battery was dead, so do you guys the Alternator is bad? Keep in mind my battery is a brand new one optima red? Any suggestions or opinions would be great

More then likely alternator. A running voltage check will tell you real quick.

Yes I’d say the alternator isn’t doing good. Make sure it’s up to operating temperature and make sure it’s putting out the 12.7-13.5 volts under load. Check the grounds too, could have gotten loose over time. Had that happen to me too.
