Alternator Install Help

I've search around and haven't had much luck.

I bought a 200a alternator and I'm having a bit of trouble, rather I want to make sure I don't break anything else in the process.

I've got the car on jack stands and I've removed most of the nuts/wires but I have 2 problems I don't know the answers to.

First: the power steering line that is attached to the alternator along the bottom side won't budge much. Most of the line is metal and so I don't want to bust/bend it trying to move it out of the way. Thoughts? Am I missing another bolt to undo?

Second: When I look at the power line connected to the alternator it appears as though there are a couple of other wires wrapped up in it as well. Do I just unwrap the sleeve and replace the one wire? One side bolts up to the alternator, where does the other bolt up to?

Thanks!

Edit: Got it... just man handled the power steering line. Don't see a delete thread button or I would.

Well I got everything buttoned up finally (got distracted by friends who needed to borrow my truck) however I'm left with a quandary.

The alternator said it was for a 07-08 as do all PA alternators for the GT500. It bolted right up however the power lead (since I got the 200a upgrade) is about 2 inches too short.

The result:

Wire is contact with the header. I'm not sure if this is a problem (maybe the insulation can withstand the heat) but I'm curious if anyone else has had this problem or what they did about it.

thoughts?
