I'm in the middle of installing a Ford GT motor into my ford lightning and in order to do so we have to move the alternator down to the lower passenger side which I have done already but I am having an issue with the wiring part.
The Lightnings uses the same connector but only use a 2 wire setup where the new alternator I have to use a 3 wire setup, same as the gt500 2010 GT etc. From what I gather my lightning setup uses the 2 outside pins and the middle one is empty, but on the GT500's the middle wire is for a PCM signal I believe but not sure where it runs to exactly?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
