Alt Pulley help

Some people have claimed to get a low profile impact gun on it somehow. Maybe by moving rad and ac H/E, not sure. I myself just pulled the alt and took it somewhere that had a decent impact gun.

I agree! Remove it first. I just got done pulling mine since the bearings were squeaking. Got them replaced and no more squeak!

Just pull the alternator out through the bottom and get an impact wrench on that sucka.......tons of us have done it.

You can loosen the alt and point it downwards to swap the pulleys. You don't have to completely remove it from the car. You will have to use an impact gun to do the swap though. Getting the battery out of the way helps access to the top of the alt.
