Not a fan of the r888 in 315/30, no sidewall

I like the look of the 305/35. It’s an inch taller which fills the wheel well gap better imo

If you got coil overs you can make that gap smaller. Lol

I bought another set of R888 in 305/35/18 from simple tire. Great price, awesome tire. I probably have about 5k miles on my current set, seem a little louder with miles.

@Booky, thanks for those pictures. They show the difference in tread design and you can see how the tread curves forward on one side of the car and aft on the other side with the newer R888Rs.

Unless you want a strictly street cruising tire, steer clear of the NT555. No traction.

Completely agree. I just went from nitto 555 to r888r in the rear. Tremendous increase in traction. 555’s were dangerous at my power level

Hey OP,

What size /brand of wheel are you running out back and what lowering springs or suspension mods do you have installed

I ask because your sig shows fr500's which are a 10" wheel. Some may say that the more ideal wheel for any Toyo 305+ is an 11" wide.

Furthermore, I ran HR Race springs (no Isos) and rolling the rear fenders was mandatory, not even a maybe. I see you have HR SS Springs.

Just asking and wouldn't want you to be surprised by overlooking this is all

I'm going to run a 18x10 saleen wheel from American muscle.my old setup is a 17 but a 10.5. With isos and I never had a issue with that setup but I guess I will have to wait and see what happens. I appreciate the advice and I will definitely keep my eyes open for that.
