Mods in sig, I only put down 446/463 SAE. I wouldn't call these great numbers in the least bit, but they're not horrible. I know I have a good tuner, it's just some cars aren't as strong as others. Anyhow, post your mods and numbers.

I got the power gain from having Rick bump up the timming from 18* to 23* deg and run a 11.8-12.0 A/F to my old 11.0.

Those numbers aren't bad. I'm beginning to wonder if there's something wrong with my car?

My 03 Cobra with cai and catback made 405rwhp/380rwtq SAE

Added an xcal2 tune brought that to 418rwhp/396rwtq SAE

Added a 2.8 pulley, 73.5" gatorback, Motorcraft 12 plugs gapped at .032
brought the total to

440rwhp/478rwtq SAE

Only change to xcal2 canned tune was bumped timing to 22.

My previous 03 Cobra with same pullied mods with a RWTD custom Predator tune and stock plugs made

445rwhp/452rwtq SAE

Why do you think there is something wrong with your car?

I think with the basic mods:

pulley, cai, catback, and a tune there is a wide difference in normal #s depending on the Tuner.

Normal #s seem to be 440rwhp-460rwhp/440-480rwtq SAE for a 2.76, 2.8, or 2.93 combo.

Adding a midpipe may add 10rwhp to the combo.

The #s that really matter are at the track and there more depends on driver ability.
I know guys with the 430-440rwhp basic 2.93 combo who have run 11.5@122 and then guys like me with 445rwhp who only ran 12.2@116.
I am at the least a GOOD driver, but there is a HUGE difference between a GOOD to VERY GOOD to GREAT driver in these cars.
The fact that I launch easy (2000rpms) and I don't powershift definitely hurts in these cars. I never break either :-D

I made 445/461 on a dyno-jet with a 2.93, CAI, and cat back. I have no idea if it is low or high, but it feels good. Anyhow, I figured I would put what I made with a 2.93 to give allof you running smaller pulleys a control to look at.

Mark, do not forget that your tune is for 91 octane gas! Plus if you used the tuner that you told me you were, get another tune immediately. Too many engines have gone BOOM with that tuner. I was told that he does not know how to tune thorugh the MAF, and through the global timing tables to insure a safe AF thorughout the entire RPM range.

So, one tuner told you "bad things" about another tuner? That doesn't surprise me.

It's not that tuner you're thinking of, I know who you're referring to...lol. I have a good tuner.:-D I'm not complaining that 446/463 is not a lot of power, it is, but not for my mods. ;-) Some cars are just not as strong as others.

Im at 460/465.5 SAE. Mods in sig. I blame it on a very safe tune(low timing), LFP(not stieg) port. But the car traps and ET's well at the track so i cant really complain. As long as the tune is safe is all that matters to me.
