So I had a question sparked by a friend from the other day. I live in a public dorm area where it is legal to posses alcohol as long as you are 21. But say I wanted to transport an open bottle of liquor to his truck, to put in the trunk(or bed in this case), so that I could consume it at another location is it legal if the liquor is just in a bag, similar to one sold at the liquor store, so that it is covered while walking to the truck or does it need to be in say a backpack?
This is in PA, but also could I get laws pertaining to VA also since I live there when not at school.
