alarm problems

got in my car today and did not get a response from ignition, could not unlock my doors or anything...alarm would go off when i closed the door and would stop when i opened the door...could not reset the alarm or anything... anybody else have this problem with aftermarket alarm???

You may have a bad door trigger switch, or it may be on valet mode ???? just some suggestions You may just end up having to replace or just remove it!!!

x2 - hard to troubleshoot an aftermarket alarm, as we have no idea what brand it is, or the quality of the install.

ya said screw it. Getn it ripped out and gna install another. Probably viper. I hear theyre good.

Yes top quality but viper also makes other named alarms also!! If i was you I would find a good audio/alarm place around you and see if they can't diagnose your problem first!!!

There was and old alarm on my car when I got it. Only took about 15 min to cut every thing out.

well im getn the contorl arms, springs and everything done to it at the same time so figured id just let them take care of the alarm as well.... sent it to LT motorsports here in dallas. great guys. do good work.
