I've read it 100 times, don't get air in the ABS unit. Well, while changing brake lines, it happened today. I must have pumped the brakes for an hour and still nothing. I've done the search and the only thing I see as an option is to take it to a dealer or get the "special tool" from them. So, are those my only options?

any scan tool with Ford ABS compatibility will be able to do it. you dont have to go to a dealer, but any shop with current software in their scan tool will be able to do it. basically all it does is cycle the solenoids on and off to allow the fluid to go through. the older fords were nice because you could short a jumper and it would turn on a pump and force fluid out. i had fun with that on a older turbo coupe t-bird when i was in tech school.
