Anyone ever used one of these filters vs the k&n in the stock air box

buy it , cut the bottom of the filter housing to get more air and let us know how good it is.

I used the afe filter. Fit what I wanted in a dry, reuseable filter. Easy to clean as well.

did you happen to datalog before/after?

I did not. I do remember reading a post by Shaun at AED that said he ran the afe as well and he had to make a few minor adjustments to get his tune back in line. I do still have it so I could but I never had any issues with idling that lead me to believe the maf signal was too "dirty".
