I was on the UNT drumline for 2 years. Band was always fun, minus being surrounded by uber nerds 24/7.

I'd say the same thing except most of my buddies in the band are either Marine, Army, Navy or Air Force contract, and pretty much the opposite of nerdy...but ya its def a blast!

I'll give you that our field sucks, but that was a very flattering picture/angle of Kyle Field, and very unimpressive angle of the Jones. But I guess that's the level of argument I'd expect from someone educated in College Station. ;-)

And don't get me started on Lubbock, dude.
I'm out there 2x a month and outside of TT and UMC being there, there's nothing to brag about.
(Although Spankys makes a damn fine burger!) College Station is paradise compared to Lubbock (and Austin's only an hour away)

LOL well with UNT being a top of the line music school most everyone in band is a music major and on the nerdy side.
