Aftermarket radio wiring question/need help

Going to install a new head unit in my 01 cobra bought the metra 70-5701 it comes with the 3 plugs the main one is straight forward and simple... but can't find anything on the 2 black/white grounds on the amp/rca plug. Anyone?? My guess is you take those 2 black/white amp grounds and connect to the ground wire from the new stereo and the new metra adapter so that would be a total of 4 grounds all connected.

My guess is it goes like this ( plus the ground from the new radio wire harness. Can anyone confirm thanks

That's how I set mine up in both my 01 and 04. I've toyed with adding a wire to the group that I can ground to the chassis.

do you have a stock amp? if so, 2 blue wires go to aftermarket radio blue amp wire. black wires go to radio ground.
