Hey guys, ive just finished the teardown on my 03 cobra that was rear ended and now swapping the parts into a 2000 gt. The problem is ive started tearing down the gt and once i got the bumper removed i noticed the rad support crumple zones are loose. The rad support in this car has been replaced with an aftermarket one about 6 years ago. On the cobra i used the front rebar bumper to lift the car off the engine with no problem at all, this one is not going to hold anything. Anyways my real question, does any body know if the aftermarket ones are just not made nearly as strong as the oem or is this just a defective one?
