AFR 185 question

i have a set of AFR 185 setin around ported and polished. came off a boosted 331... My question... I putting together a carbed 408 about 10.5:1 with about 150 shot a juice. Havent picked a cam yet. 185s going to be to much of a restriction to make good hp numbers?

if the heads have a good port job the should be fine. since they been woked do u have any flow numbers on them?

The 185s will do fine. There was an article in MMFF about 5 years or so ago when the AFRs came out. They put a set of box stock AFR 185s on Ford Racings 392 stroker long block, the one that was rated for 450hp, and picked up 85 hp with no other changes.
