Afco heat exchanger install on 2010 shelby??

So I am installing a used afco heat exchanger I picked up and my question is with the wiring by the fuse box. Instructions for the heat exchanger say snip the original plug for the pump to get voltage to wore to the fans. The harness I have someone has installed a wire with a fuse on it to plug into the fuse panel under the hood. Is this ok like this and if so what fuse slot should I put it in???

Did the previous owner have it on an 07-09? The wiring is different from what I found when I installed a C&R on my '10.
