AET test wire?

Does anyone know what this wire loop is for? The loom says AET test. Wire is located on the drivers side injector harness but runs to Coil 1.

If it is a coil wire, I wonder if it was used as a convenient loop for an inductive coil test at the factory or shop since the rest of the coil wiring is normally under the valve cover.

I guess that’s pretty much what it would have to be.

Would that be for hooking up a timing light to see if it's getting spark? I wonder if it goes off number 1 cylinder?
