Has anyone installed the boost sensing kit? If so where did you tap in to supply the map sensor with 5 volts? Thanks!

The 3.5 bar MAP sensor connects directly to 12 volts, and does not require the 12 volt/5 volt adapter.

The output to the gauge is 5 volts, but that has nothing to do with power supply.

I will buy your 5 volt adapter from you for tree fiddy! :-D

I need one for the oil pressure gauge I'm about to add to my Aeroforce setup.

Unleasehed, I read the instructions again, looks like the map sensor is supposed to be supplied with 5 volts. It says to tap into supply voltage at the tps, maf, or map. Those sensors are fed 5 volts.
Is it safe to tap into one of these?

is this the 3.5bar map? I believe there are two, one requires a 5volt power source, the other a 12volt

I have a 2 bar. I figured since I have a stock motor I'd never boost it enough for a 3 bar. The 2 bar should be more accurate for my needs.

The directions do say +5 volt source.

The output of the sensor is 0-5v on the boost/vacuum set up for the 3 bar map. It does require sourcing 12 volts for power purposes. I installed a raptor shift light and just used the supply voltage signals from the cpu. You can pull the 12v from any source.
