Aerocatch or Quik-Latch for aftermarket hood

Wondering if any of you guys have experience with these hood pin options? I installed my HO Fibertrends 95R hood and thinking about adding some pins for safety. I had a issue with a Cervini's hood years ago on my fox and don't wanna go through that again.

I have had the Aerocatch latches on my hood for many years no with no issues and have been happy with them. However, once you cut the hood to fit the latch, there's no going back to round latches. I haven't used the quick-latches but my buddy is using the small ones to hold his bumper on and went the the aerocatch latches for his hood on the car he is building now.

I have no personal experience but do have several friends that have had good experiences with the Aerocatch latches.

I'm gonna try the Quik Latch first, they are the smaller of the two. I do like both almost equally. I figure if I don't like the Quik Latch for whatever reason, I can just make the hole bigger and go with the Aerocatch.
