Adjusting Stock headlight

The headlights on my L point straight down pretty much. I can't see anything at night on a dark road. It seems to me that the brights are were my regular headlights need to be. I bought the truck brand new in 04 and now decide to do something about it :nonono: . Anyway to adjust them, or just take it to the dealership. I wonder if they will charge my ass for this? :rollseyes

I ordered 2, one is on the way to Andre in Germany. I don't have my L right now but it's really cake with the tool OR, if you have the time you can pull the lights out (the whole housing) and hold the bolt and spin the large plastic nut in or out. I'm guessing at some point you lowered your L, but didn't adjust the lights afterwards.

Yeah i had the same problem with my headlights on my 02 but took it to the ford dealer and they fixed it for me

know anyone else with a lightning? ask them to park and point their beams at a wall and adjust yours to match.

Pull the two latches up...pull the headlamp out... ajust the 3 screws on the back of lamp. Or, just look at where the other guys screws are placed on the bolt.
