I'm adding a aftermarket coolant gauge to the car and I know I can add the sensor to the top of the coolant tube but I don't like how that looks. I've always thought that one of the sensors on the crossover is for the PCM and one is for the gauge on the dash. Can I remove that one and put the aftermarket sensor in that spot?

You can put it there but its not as accurate. I put mine in the block. Under the DS head near the back of the block there is a threaded plug you can put in a sensor. Much more accurate.

I thought about that also. But wasn't sure if it was accurate. I guess I should have asked people for suggestions for where they are running there gauges

How much will the gauge be off? 5*-10* or more like 20*-30*?
