adding a subwoofer need help!

I read various posts and threads that say you can tap into the data cable for signal to the amp w/a line converter. I did it, and nothing happened. I have power to the sub, I even hooked up another sub.:shrug: Has anyone added a sub to their '04 cobra?(keeping the mach 460 system)

got it all figured out. it was the loc wiring.
