Belts coming off with SC's has long been a problem with many cars. With our cars there is a long length of belt between the alternator pulley and power steering pulley.
I made a pretty simple fix, just removed one of the bolts from the front cover, got a longer grade 8 bolt, some spacers, and a small idler pulley. I did not have to change the length of the belt either, pretty cool. Here's the pic:
