So I've been pretty busy with the car. After pulling the motor to get the cams degreed, I dropped it off at the shop. Got some unfortunate news. Turns out the cams were way off.. not exactly sure what caused the issues, but I had some scoring in the journals. They probably could have been repaired, but I elected to go ahead and upgrade to the DC cast heads. Sent the cams out to bullet racing to have them check, and thankfully they were good to go. Heads were cleaned, valve job, decked, springs lifters cams ect ect checked and used in the new heads. This came at the cost of selling my TF wheels. I picked up some series 2s in chrome for the time being. (305/35 Street S/S) Also took this opportunity to do head studs. Went with ARP 2000s for peace of mind. Also a Moroso oil pan and GT500 windage tray were added. I had to dimple the headers to get them to clear. Powder coated the timing cover, pulley bridge and valve covers wrinkle black. Decided I didn't like the powered by ford cop covers, so I picked up some Powered by SVT. This is how it looked sitting on the stand. Head cooling mod.
