Add AUX to '05 GT

So I have been shopping around and have been trying to find a way to install an AUX port or cable into a friends 2005 GT. She has the shaker stereo system, and I have found a couple things online like the link I am going to include below. I was wondering what people think of the cable below or if their are any better known options for this situation?

Replace the radio. Its going to break anyways as they all do. Shaker 500/1000 are/were crap.
