How accurate are the autometer gauges? I just got my boost gauge installed, took it out and the highest it went was 10lbs.. This is with a ported apten and 2.93 pulley.... I got up to abotu 6grand rpm's in 2nd gear on my test run. :p

Check to make sure you did not pinch the line when installing. It's really easy to do. I can see 10lb on cool day with my mods, the norm is 8-9.

What should the gauge say at idle?? It pulls a vacuum on mine of about 20.

Eating a steady diet of government cheese, and liv
20 inches of vaccuum at idle is damn good. credit that to the luxury suv camshafts.

edit: now days its done with a flash tuner and scan tool. on old stuff you do it with a pocket screwdriver and a vaccuum gauge.
