Installed a AF THROTTLE BODY assy on my 00 gt 4.6L The install was simple until I hooked
to throttle and cruise cables the throttle was half open at which I found out when I started it up ,,,needless to say the idle was more like using a two step off the line at your local dragstrip. So I looked and looked to come to the conclusion that when reusing the factory throttle bracket the cruise cable is now causing the throttle not to close unhook it and your good to go,, so I cannot seem to find a modified bracket to fix this so I can use the cruise..
ps don't get me wrong I don't really use it but I don't like the fact that now I can't use it because of a part I installed ...you would think there would be information on a quick fix or something.....
