AC/HEATER Blower Problems

Alright so the other day my A/C blower just stop running. I was puzzled at first, why in the hell would it just quit? Anyways the dang thing only blows on the high setting. The other three settings will not work. Whats the deal people?:cuss:

Search the Troubleshooting Forum. Search with "heater" or "blower" You'll get some hits...

There is a recall for the heater blower resistor. I don't know if you qualify or not. If you do, let Ford do it.

If not, look for my note on contour.org. I had the same problem.

The probable culprits are located on the passenger side above where your left foot would be. You might want to pull the glove box. I did when I fixed mine. It could be as easy as a loose wire in the keyed plug on the resistor pack. That was what mine was. If not, the part is a ~$10 part. Its a white ~4" long rectangle part with a ~5 wire keyed plug.
