The AC-130 is a great asset to have around, not to mention probably the most satisfying job a sensor operator can have. I'm just a little more partial to the one below it ;-)

As bad ass the AC130 is, this plane, the Douglas A-26, is the one i most want to pilot. Fought a great fight in WW2, Kicked ass in Korea, Shot up Charlie in Vietnam. Shot some isht up in the Bay of Pigs and then if that wasn't enough, the plane was sent to Africa where it fought in the Congo.

8 forward mounted 50 cals. and the ability to absorb lots of damage and continue flying. Awesome!

This plane was used as a firefighter as well.
