ABS light came on.

Ford dealer diagnosed as ABS control Module malfunction.

ABS module inop when cold, after engine bay warms up, module works.

Reccomended replacement....at $1025!!!!!!!!!!!

I could definately use the GRAND on other things.

I had an abs module that started leaking out of a little hole. I bought one off ebay for 130 from a seller that sells almost only parts from 03/04 cobras, installed it and bleed the brakes and haven't had a problem since.

Is it the module itself or the HCU (Hydraulic Control Unit) that went bad? And I don't understand how temps will have any impact on anything...If either one went bad, try to get one off a wrecked car. Ford robs everyone on those things.

what was the code? probably a b1342?

just change the ecu on the side of the unit. you don't have to open the brake system at all. its a good 30-50 min swap. its easy just did this on my gt
