ABS Light

Does anyone know if the ABS and Traction Control can be turned off with a tune? If so, can it be turned back on? Both lights are on in my 03 and when I test it, it says module not responding. The fuse is good and the module has all the powers and grounds it's supposed to have. I was told the previous owner had it tuned and disabled the ABS through the tune.

It can be turned off in the tune.. but I was told the same thing by the guy I bought my car from. Turns out it wasn't in the tune, the pump itself is bad

Traction Control can be turned off but the ABS light can not. Its very common for our cars ABS module/pump to take a dump on us. How you can tell if thats whats going on is when the scanner wont communicate with the module, just like yours. Happens to the best of us.
