ABS light

Was driving home tonight and all the sudden my ABS light came on then about 100 yards layer the lights got sorta dim and the car shut off. Weirdest thing. Won't start, hoping just a battery but could be the charging system. Find out tomorrow. No battery light turned on. Has this happened to anyone else or have you heard of it. Thanks

weird you had no other lights

To clarify, car runs off the alternator, if the alternator is failing it will supplement with power from the battery until it’s dead then the car dies.

Assuming it starts after charging the battery you need to start diagnosing the alternator immediately as the battery would by a symptom, not the cause

I'm sure that's the problem, I really hope it is and nothing major
