I hear the A1000s are loud. I am putting an A1000 and pump controller on my 03 now. I wanted to see what they sound like. Anybody got any videos of them on their cars?

They aren't too bad as long as you mount it with some insulation and rubber between the mounts.
I also run the eliminator with no controller.

Check out a magna fuel 750 pump. Extremely quite compared to a1000

My A1000 is quieter than my inline 255 pump I had on my Cobra. Mine is mounted on the rear bumper.. Totally quiet with no controller.
Thanks for all the input. i will post a video when i get it all done. I hope the controller will help with the over heating problem a lot of people talk about with these bigger pumps. I am coming from dual 255s
My a1000 sounds like the video that Chris _Scott posted. My car has very little insulation in it and no rear deck lid so whatever noise you'd hear in the trunk isn't muffled very much. It is a very loud pump.
Your car sounds good. Hard to hear the pump over some nice exhaust

heating issues?? I lived in Mobile AL and drove in the south for 2yrs in the summer with 0 issues.. 4-5hr road trips at that
My A1000 is quiet as well, it is tucked up behind the bumper. No controller either.
Ahh the sweets sounds of a CARB car - sounds pretty damn good:beer:
