Hey Guys,
Ok so a friend of the family says his 67 w/ 283 built will out right rape my L in a 1/4 mile race when it gets warm again. I'm calling BS on his part b/c is rearend gear is like a 4.30 or something and i've rode in it and a 70 mph on the HWY he is tachin 6 grand in his top gear 3 speed, 6500 is his redline, my mods are as follows, #4 pully, Meth Injection, Cai, Ported and Polished Eaton, FTVB,with mail order tune, by the time we race i'll have a dyno tune and some hard numbers. i went down to the #4 when i put the Meth Injection on just to be safe on a mail order tune so i may be back on the #6 when i get dyno'd. So my question is what do you guys think...i think i'll have no problem taking him as i know he is not changing anything on his truck, i let my dad do the shit talking with his b/c i don't like to say i can take this or that but he kinda pissed me off. So what do you guys think ???
