Looks good......Are you daily driving them? Let me know how that goes, I was thinking about getting some but heard the alumastars can get damaged pretty easy with pot holes/bumps.

Sean, those look badass! How much lighter are those compared to the RTS's?

Thanks man! And they were noticeably lighter when I pulled them out of the box, the rts's are 16lbs and the alumastars are 10.4lbs each. I couldn't believe how much lighter they were.

No I don't daily the car. And with how much lighter than they were than the rts's I can see why they aren't as strong. It says "for drag racing only no street use" haha

Im not worried about vertical loading the wheel as much as horizontal. If a bump is going to mess up these wheels I would be very worried for all the wheel standing drag cars that run these.

That's some good savings, I might need to look into those, as I'm putting my girl on a diet;)

Those wheels are amazing. I hear you on the "for drag racing only". They have to cover themselves for insurance purposes. If I was you I would be paranoid I was going to wreck those beauties though. I bought race stars the day after I bought my car in 2011. I have been everywhere on them damn Chinese wheels with no issue although I'm not the biggest fan of the skinnies for long trips.

The wheels look great! Mine have held up fine to the street driving. I've probably put 1500 miles on the front's and run M&H bias ply's as well. I'm very attentive with driving though, so careful about the roads i go down.

I looked at that picture again earlier today and it motivated me to polish my wheels. You guys ever use that small "Mothers Power Ball" on your wheels with some aluminum polish? Tried it out and totally worth.

Thanks for the positive feedback.

And yeah those power balls rock, especially on double wall exhaust tips
